Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Healthlytic application (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the App. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Healthlytic. We may update these Terms from time to time, and your continued use of the App following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Healthlytic is a health data aggregation and insights platform available as an iOS application. The service provides:

• Integration with Apple HealthKit to read and display your health metrics including heart rate, steps, sleep, and activity data.
• Lab result scanning via OCR technology that digitizes paper lab reports and extracts biomarker data.
• AI-powered health insights generated by Google Gemini 2.0 Flash, providing plain-language explanations of your health metrics and lab results.
• Health trend tracking and historical analysis across your biomarkers and health data over time.
• Cross-device data synchronization via Firebase cloud services.

To use Healthlytic, you must create an account using Sign in with Apple. By creating an account, you agree to the following:

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Apple ID and any device used to access the App.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
• You must provide accurate information and keep your account information up to date.
• You must notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized access to or use of your account.
• You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account and use the App.

You agree not to use Healthlytic to:

• Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the App.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our servers, systems, or any third-party services connected to the App.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App or its related infrastructure.
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or any other harmful technology.
• Use the App for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent.
• Share your account credentials with others or allow multiple people to use a single account.

This is a critical section. Please read it carefully:

• Healthlytic is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.
• The AI-generated insights, health summaries, and biomarker explanations provided by the App are for informational purposes only and may contain inaccuracies or errors.
• You should always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making any health-related decisions, changing medications, or starting new treatments.
• The App does not replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information provided by Healthlytic.
• AI models have inherent limitations and may misinterpret health data. Do not rely solely on AI-generated insights for any medical decisions.
• In case of a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately. Do not rely on the App in emergency situations.

All content, features, and functionality of the Healthlytic application — including but not limited to the design, text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, software code, and the arrangement thereof — are the exclusive property of Healthlytic and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, or otherwise use any of our intellectual property without our express prior written consent.

• Healthlytic offers both free and premium subscription tiers. Premium features require an active subscription.
• All subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions for in-app purchases.
• Subscription management, including billing and entitlements, is handled by RevenueCat on our behalf.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings on your device.
• Refunds are handled exclusively by Apple in accordance with their refund policy. We cannot process refunds directly.
• Prices may change from time to time. You will be notified of any price changes before they take effect.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• Healthlytic and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App.
• We are not liable for any health decisions you make based on information provided by the App, including AI-generated insights, biomarker analysis, or trend data.
• Our total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
• The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
• We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that defects will be corrected.

• You may delete your account at any time from within the App settings. Upon deletion, your personal data will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the App at any time, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, is harmful to us, other users, or third parties.
• Upon termination, all rights and licenses granted to you under these Terms will immediately cease.
• Sections relating to intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law shall survive termination.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the State of California. You consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts.

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or via email to the address associated with your account. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will be revised accordingly. Your continued use of Healthlytic after any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you must stop using the App and delete your account.
